Took a break from sequentials to do this Sith Lord today, was in a Star-Warsy mood.

I was less than pleased with the shading, I'm still working on my technique. The layout was difficult as well, I wanted to go for one of those awesome movie-poster formats, was going to add a fleet of TIEs and maybe a Star Destroyer and balance it all out, but it just didn't work. I still have a long way to go before I feel like Dave Dorman! :D

Please comment, as this was practice for my Photoshop skills as well. I hope you like it!

P.S. - Darth Dracus is a Sith warlord during the era following the fall of the Galactic Empire. He emerges years after the destruction of the second Death Star.

Note to self: This picture is hilarious now that I look at it a second time... His waist is so little, shouldn't he die? Maybe he digests his food with the force...

And the saber, now THAT's a manly saber, look how fat it is! It's like a can of Pepsi! :rofl: I suppose he's compensating for something, I did make his loincloth quite small.

nooooooo!!!! i refuse to accept another sith lord has sprung up!!.... but anyways regarding the dark side... i recently got confused while watching star wars again. uhhh how is it balanced if only the force of good exists... i mean if the good destroys the dark side... doesnt that sort of unbalance things??? :P

That's a good point, have you ever read Dark Empire or any of the novels after Return of the Jedi? THey're very cool, I recommend.

:( .. not only do we have the problem that books like that are impossible to find in sri lanka.. (man you should have seen the trouble i had to go through just to get hold of the LOTR collection.. the extra books i mean).. but book prices are a tad too high for me.... just have to hope the british council library gets them by some weird chance..

REALLY?!? Dude you can find a copy of Dune in every second-hand store over here in the US!

You know, if you want, I'll find out how much it would be to send a few cheap books over there and mail them to you. It would be no big deal, the books are that good! :D
